I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. (Psalm 119:16, AMP)
Father, this is the day that You have made, a day You’ve allowed us to see. So, Father, help Your daughters make the best of this day. No matter what comes our way, help us to give it all to You. Help us to not worry, but to cast all our cares upon You. Help us to remember Your truths and Your promises. Help us to remember all the great things You’ve done in the past, and what You’re doing right now. For You are our hope and our future.
Remind us about Your Word and what You’ve written about us. Your Word says we are more than conquerors (Rom. 8:37), and greater is He that’s in us, than he that’s in the world (1 John 4:4). In Philippians, we’re reminded that we can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives us strength (4:13). You will supply all of our needs according to Your riches in glory because the earth is Yours and the fullness there of, the world and they that dwell in it (Phil. 4:19; Psalm 24:1).
Sweet Jesus, help us not to forget that only You can give peace that exceeds anything we can understand (Phil. 4:7). You are our faithful friend who sticks closer to us than any brother (Prov. 17:17a; Prov. 18:24; John 15:13-15). You are our Good Shepherd who cares so deeply about us. Your Word says, You’ll leave the 99 to come find the one (Matt. 18, Luke 15, John 10).
Wonderful Savior, remind us that You are praying for us and making intercessions for us right now (Heb. 7:25). When we don’t know what to pray for or what to say, Your Holy Spirit speaks on our behalf with groaning that cannot be expressed in words (Rom. 8:26). Oh, Holy One, keep reminding us today and every day.
My sister, may we never forget God’s precious Word. May we hide it in our hearts that we might not sin against Him (Ps. 119:11).
