Do you ever have those times in your life when you feel like you have been forgotten? Do you ever feel like God is overlooking you, that He has forgotten you and your situation? Do you ever feel like everyone else is passing you by and everyone else is moving forward? You hear that God is in the blessing business, but it feels like He’s blessing everyone around you but you. For some reason, it feels like He keeps passing you by.
Maybe you feel like the prayers you have been praying for the last 3 years still have not come to pass. Maybe you feel like the prayers you consistently plead, are hitting the ceiling and bouncing back down to the floor. Well, I want to encourage you today.
“For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.”(1 Pet. 3:12 NKJV)
He has not overlooked you. Do not lose heart because He hears everyone of your prayers.
“Then he said to me, ‘Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia. Now I have come to give you an understanding of what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision pertains to the days yet future.’” (
Daniel 10:12-14 NKJV)
Your steps have been ordained by God (Psalm 23). He knows you by name (Exodus 33) and He sees your every move. He sees you right where you are. No, my friend, you are not forgotten. Take comfort in God’s word and in knowing that He has not forgotten you.
