My Daddy

Hey. Have you met my Daddy? Well, let me introduce you to Him. He’s the greatest and He’s so special to me! He’s my King and my everything! Have you met my Daddy?

My Daddy calls me His babygirl. He tells me I’m the apple of His eye, His special creation, and He reminds me that I’m marvelously and wonderfully made (Deut. 32:10; Ps. 139:14). He tells me how important I am to Him and how I mean the world to Him. When I’m feeling down and beaten up by this old mean world, my Daddy comes and fights for me. He speaks His Words over me and inspires me to get up and keep going. And when I feel like a failure and like I can’t do anything right, my Daddy tells me that He’s proud of me. He reassures me that I can do anything because He’s on my side (Phil. 4:13). He tells me that He’s for me, more than the world is against me (1 John 4:4).

Have you met my Daddy? Well, excuse me while I do a little bragging on Him.

My Daddy is powerful and strong and wise! He knows everything. He can do the impossible! He can do anything! Nothing is too hard for him! He’s eternal, He lives forever and ever. He was, is and is to come (Rev. 1:8). He was here before the world began. He created the world! My Daddy spoke the world into existence and all things came to be (Gen. 1-2)! Everything you see, my Daddy made. He is the creator of all. The sun, the moon, the stars, the oceans, the heavens, the earth, all the planets, all the animals, the grass, the trees, all the plants, all of humanity, were made by my Daddy. My Daddy owns everything!

My Daddy is RICH, boy is He RICH! He’s rich in mercy, rich in grace, rich in blessings, rich in forgiveness, rich in love, and rich financially! My Daddy is loaded!! My Daddy owns every beast of the forest and the cattle of a thousand hills (Ps. 50:10). He owns it all! Everything belongs to my Daddy. For the earth belongs to him; everything is His (1 Cor. 10:26). My Daddy has an abundance of everything. Whatever I need, my Daddy has it. That’s why I can go to Him for anything. Yep, I sure can!

My Daddy is so beautiful to me. His face lights up the world! His eyes are filled with compassion and His smile brightens up my day. His arms are big and strong and they shield me from all harm. With His mighty hand, He protects me and guides me (Ps. 136:12). He keeps me on the right path. And when I go astray, His love draws me back to Him. Speaking of love, my Daddy loves me so much that He gave His only Son, Jesus Christ, for me.

In fact, over 2,000 years ago, Jesus (my big brother), died on the cross for all my sins (John 3:16). Even though I was dirty and rotten and no one wanted me, my Daddy came and purchased me with the pure blood of Christ. I’m a part of the royal family, so now I have accessed to everything. That’s right, my Daddy loves me that much! He did not withhold His own perfect Son from me. Jesus paid for all the wrong that I would ever do in my lifetime; He paid my debt in full! Now that’s some kind of love!

Most surely, there is nothing my Daddy wouldn’t do for me. Daily He shows me how much He loves to me. And you know what else? My Daddy loves you, too! My Daddy’s love is not just for me only, but it’s big enough for everyone and anyone who is willing to receive His love. He calls us His children and we are chosen to be loved by Him. Oh, what a privilege! All that He has is made available to you and me. He’s our Daddy who truly loves us!!

Sisters, want to enjoy all the many benefits that comes with knowing our Heavenly Father’s love? Give Him your heart today! Show Him that you love Him. Embrace His love and give yourself entirely over to Him! He’s our Abba, Father and He has given us an inheritance!

Happy Father’s Day! Let’s show our love to our Heavenly Father!

“You can tell for sure that you are now fully adopted as his own children because God sent the Spirit of his Son into our lives crying out, “Papa! Father!” Doesn’t that privilege of intimate conversation with God make it plain that you are not a slave, but a child? And if you are a child, you’re also an heir, with complete access to the inheritance.” (Gal. 4:5-7, MSG)
