About the Event
Hi Sis! I am Rhovonda, and I will be hosting The Power of Journaling Class for women.
I genuinely believe that there’s power in writing. I am so much better when I write how I’m feeling, especially when I’m having an emotional hiccup. Through my journaling, I can release all those emotions that have me on a roller coaster. My writing allows me to be me, and I’m able to hear my own voice. More importantly, I’m able to listen to the voice of the Lord. During my quiet time and my journaling, I can hear God’s instructions clearly. I can receive His comfort and the peace I need for walking the Christian journey.
Did you know that there are health benefits of journaling? During this class, we will be discussing some of those benefits as we journal.
“Journaling can be effective for many different reasons and help you reach a wide range of goals. It can help you clear your head, make important connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and even buffer or reduce the effects of mental illness!” – PositivePsychology.com
My sister, do you journal? Come journal with me. In writing, let’s express our gratitude, emotions, concerns, private thoughts, and conversations with the Lord. During our time together, we will discuss the benefits of journaling, express in writing our gratitude, emotions, concerns, private thoughts, and conversations with the Lord, and write down all the Lord gives us through His sweet Spirit. RSVP to attend.
Please join our host, Pastor Rhovonda Brown, for the upcoming class The Power of Journaling: Giving Thanks. We’ll use Rhovonda’s award-winning book, At Least Say, “Thank You,” An 8-Day Devotional Plan for a Grateful Heart, for writing prompts to journal about being thankful. Not only that, but our journaling will empower us to walk in freedom giving thanks to God, embracing His forgiveness, love, peace, strength, and comfort.
