Rhovonda L. Brown
I am a multi-passionate creative who loves working with other creative women. I am an encourager who roots for the underdog, the forgotten, the neglected, and the unloved. I am a wife, mother of two adult children, and grandmother of three grandsons. I journal, blog, create content, and am a pastor, inspirational speaker, and encourager. I am a self-taught web designer and an award-winning self-published author. From journaling, I began writing devotionals in 2010 and wanted to create a platform to encourage and reach more people with the message of Jesus Christ's love and forgiveness. I struggled to find the right website to meet my needs and fit my budget so, through trial and error, I spent long hours educating myself. I took courses and training in Grad school that helped me acquire the knowledge needed to design and maintain a professional website. My experiences and education have opened up opportunities for me to help other entrepreneurs, educators, ministries, nonprofit organizations, and individuals design and organize a website for their businesses.
I help aspiring authors gain the courage to share their stories, and get started with writing and self-publishing their books. I help indie authors promote their books. I create beautiful designs for authorpreneurs to market their books and businesses. I enjoy helping others, especially women, reach their full potential and live life to the fullest! Furthermore, I'm incredibly grateful for the privilege of encouraging and empowering women (and men) to ignite their passion for God and walk in freedom with Jesus Christ.
With over 10 years of experience in nonprofit management, nearly 24 years of administration, and spending many years ministering and educating the youth, my mission is to help others ignite their passion, live their purpose, and walk in freedom. I help and support you as you share your gifts with the world. I work hard for you so you can be proud of the end results.
I am a proud Indie Author of four bestselling books, two are Amazon's #1 bestsellers. I am the founder and CEO of Rhovonda L. Brown Enterprise LLC, president of a nonprofit organization, The Pillar of Hope Inc. I have a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I am the founder and executive director of Martha & Mary Ministries, Walking in Freedom! (M3), and co-pastor of an incredible ministry, The Sanctuary Christian Fellowship Church, where I serve alongside my husband, Pastor Jeffrey Brown, to minister and encourage the people of God.
My expertise, experience, and passion for helping women and children have allowed me to launch Rhovonda L. Brown Enterprise LLC. Our goal is to directly impact your success by identifying and supporting your purpose, passion, and goals for personal (spiritual), and professional growth.

“We praise the Lord for giving you and us great opportunities to preach the Gospel freely and for opening the hearts of His people. We are pleased and honored to let you know that your nurturing and nourishing website was a seed planted in our hearts, and it will grow and bring forth much fruit when you will allow us to be part of the wonderful work you are doing so that together we can fulfill the will of God, lifting up the veil from the eyes of His people, for them to see Christ in their lives, that together we might bring Him glory and honor and faithfully build His Kingdom. We dedicate you and your ministry into the hands of God and request for your prayers and fellowship with our ministry. If God provides the opportunity we beseech you to visit us here in Kenya and share with us.”

I am familiar with heartaches and disappointments. I have encountered life's ups and downs. Well, haven't we all? And like many of us, I have triumphed over some and failed terribly at others. My journey has been rough at times, yet I still stand amazed at how POWERFUL and LOVING is my Heavenly Father. God blows my mind at the way He can take a dirty, no good, worthless nobody (which is what I thought about myself) and make her into His magnificent masterpiece. Wow! All glory, power, and honor belong to my God!
Let me give you a little history. My two brothers and I were very young when our mother died. Someone murdered her. I was four, my oldest brother was seven, and the younger was three. My baby brother and I witnessed her horrific death. The loss of our mother caused us to live separated from one another. My oldest brother and I moved in with my dad and stepmother, while our younger brother moved in with our maternal grandmother. Eventually, my paternal grandmother took me in, and there I stayed until I was 19, about a year after her death—a second death I had witnessed.
My childhood had many challenges. I was physically, sexually, and emotionally abused. However, I thank God for the angels He placed in my life. From rejection to neglect, hardships to heartaches, abuse, drugs, and death, I was exposed to them all as a little girl. My promiscuous and drunkard lifestyle covered up my hidden baggage as I got older. Low self-esteem, insecurities, fear, rage, despair, loneliness, pain, an unwillingness to forgive, and a loathsomeness toward myself lived inside me. I was lost and dying within, but I did not know.
Here's the unique part, however! By God's grace, Christ found me and freed me. Jesus' blood reached down into that horrible pit I was trapped and drowning in. He rescued me! Christ redeemed me, washed, and transformed me into someone new. I am a new creation! My Heavenly Father showed me my worth through His Son and His PERFECT love. He showed me my identity, purpose, and position in Him. My Creator and King adopted me (of all people) into His glorious family. And now, I stand free! I am a woman of purpose, a mighty woman of God, ignited with a passion for loving and serving Him and His people.
